1. Standard Automated Communications:
Table22 can set up automated communications for your fulfillment, where we will handle sending members two rounds of communications — the first at the beginning of the month and then another reminder communication ~24H before your fulfillment starts. We strongly recommend these communications for perishable offerings where fulfillment takes place on a designated date (or dates) and when scheduling is preferred.
- Beginning of Month Communications: An email and SMS are sent to members with an active order within the first 3 days of the month to share the confirmed fulfillment date, and invite the selection of a pick up slot or delivery date (if relevant). Let us know if you need to change your fulfillment date by the first of the month.
- These monthly communications are a great place for us to add the monthly menu or a reminder on any soft perks. Pass along the monthly menu and we’ll get it added before communications go out!
- The modification deadline (i.e. the deadline to skip, cancel, or modify each month’s order) is also included in these communications. The default modification deadline is the 4th business day of each month.
- Reminder Communications: An email and SMS are set to members 24H before the fulfillment begins.

2. Custom Communications via the Messaging Tool:
Table22 can disable automated communications for your fulfillment, and instead design a template that you can send out via our internal Messaging tool each month. We recommend these communications for nonperishable offerings where fulfillments are more flexible, occur over multiple days, and advanced scheduling is not needed.
- Note that if we disable automated communications, you will need to handle sending communications (and reminder communications if relevant) out for your program each month. You can choose whether to send them at the beginning of the month, or leading up to your fulfillment.
- You can use these communications to add custom information like the monthly theme, monthly events and tastings, and any relevant dates or deadlines.
- Table22 can design a template for your use in the Messaging tool, and then you can replicate it, attach each month’s members based on the “Current Cohort” and send out based on your preference.
T22 Tip! We have found that a reduced number of automated touchpoints improves member retention for nonperishable offerings. A reduced number of communications (and with a more personalized, brand-forward touch) can go a long way in keeping members engaged and reducing churn. Your members want to hear directly from you — not Table22!
